Middle Earth & Mail

I received a Christmas card from my New Zealand publisher, Hachette NZ, and this was the postmark on it. I thought it was pretty neat to get something from Middle Earth. What's the most interesting place from which you've ever received mail or e-mail?

Well, I used to collect stamps- but I can't really say I was a philatelist by any means, since I don't know about value or anything- I just had a wish to have a stamp from every country in the world.
My boyfriend knew that and he wanted to surprise me for anniversary, so he managed through FB to organize for bunch of people from all over the world to send me postcards telling them about my reason for collecting stamps. And they did! :) First one I got was from San Marino, so I'll put that one as my favorite.:)

Hmmm. I don't think you can get much more interesting than Middle Earth. So I will say Alofi, Niue. Simply because Niue Island is not on half the maps of the world :)
